omegaverse rules

since in our universe some men (XY) can get pregnant and some women (XX) can get other pregnant, and to avoid confusion and use terms we're familiarized with,
we'll define mother as the person who bears the child, and father as the person who inseminates, regardless of their gender.
this will make it easier to explain

this are our omegaverse rules:
α/β/Ω is determined by GENES
there are 5 types of people: alpha, beta, omega, humans, mutants

about genes: beta > alpha > omega - this is the order of dominancy of genes.
beta is more dominant than alpha, and alpha is more dominant than omega. omega is a recessive gene
humans DO NOT have the gene
therefore, possible combinations:

mutants, as the name implies, have a mutation of the genes. other authors might consider them a different type (gamma, delta, etc)
in our case, a mutant has a gene that is not completely alpha, beta or omega. it happens when the gametes are formed.

they might present both characteristics at some point. very unstable, usually stabilized with some kind of medication
if only one chromosome is affected, they can have children. if not, they are sterile
example of mutant: jun (born with alpha characteristics, then destabilized naturally, then stabilized into omega)

now, regarding the species of our characters
the animal they turn into is determined by:
